Born and raised in the Chicagoland Area, Rachel has promoted, managed, and developed musical Artists for the past decade. In 2008, she graduated with Honors from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Music Business, and in 2009, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue Music Supervision full-time.
Komar has been an A&R Scout for many companies, most notably Atlantic Records and American Recordings. She has connected many Artists to their current labels, managers, lawyers, and other forms of representation.
Rachel currently works in the Film & TV Department at the LA based music licensing and supervision company, Secret Road. She also consults for music companies and Artists, most recently helping actor Peter Stormare develop his music label, StormVox Records, as well as managing artists such as The Black Atlantic and Melpo Mene.
Rachel is always tracking the best music you've never heard, and she is excited to use film as an exposure platform for up and coming Artists.
Komar also co-runs ExtraOrdinary Casting, an extras casting company based in Chicago. She has worked on numerous films, television shows, commercials, and music videos, including "Public Enemies," "Prison Break," "ER," and more!
