Rebecca Spence

Rebecca has appeared on the Steppenwolf stage playing Clara in Household Spirits, Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible, Sarah in As If Body Loop, Alonza in the Human Capacity, Susan in Pacific, and Sonia in Our Lady of 121st Street.

Other Chicago credits include IN at Northlight Theatre, Dracula with Defiant Theatre, Days of Wine and Roses with Keyhole Players, The Beginning of August with Pendulum Theatre Company, Twelfth Night with St. Sebastian Players and Desdemona: A Play About a Handkerchief with TriArts Inc., amongst others.

For her portrayal of Catherine in These Shining Lives with Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, she received a Joseph Jefferson nomination for "Best Actress in a Leading Role." 

She also toured Wisconsin as Roxanne in Milwaukee Repertory Theater's Cyrano.

In addition to her theater credits, Rebecca has performed in several national commercials and has been featured on TV shows, Hollywood movies, and independent films.

Her TV credits include: Matadors, The Beast, Lowering The Bar, and Prison Break.

Mrs. Spence's film credits include parts in: Contagion, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Public Enemies, Grace is Gone, and The Break Up.  Grace is Gone was the winner of the "Audience Award" at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.
